As a Trust Accountant, I reconcile the assets in the 401(k) Plan, and I enjoy the challenge of it – it’s like solving a puzzle. Basically, I compare the deposits made to the fund company, with the employer’s withholding and deposit accounts.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in Accounting. Prior to working at TBA, I worked for several CPA firms doing bookkeeping, individual income taxes and retirement plans. When I applied to TBA, I was interested in working remotely for a company whose focus was on quality, not quantity. It was also appealing to me that most employees have been with TBA a long time, and have grown with the company. I like that they work together as a team to achieve a common goal.

My happiest memories here are from the annual holiday parties. TBA does a great job bringing everyone together and meticulously planning every detail of the event.  Every year is a surprise – at a different venue – and involves a competitive team activity.
