At TBA, I’m part of a team that serves as the first point of contact with our clients. I assist with their needs and questions – I point them in the right direction, and at least once per quarter, check in to make sure all is going smoothly. I also serve as a liaison for our clients and our many Recordkeepers to help keep all parties on the same page. If a request or an update is needed, I’ll help facilitate the appropriate paperwork and submission. Finally, I manage many aspects of our 3(16) limited Fiduciary Services, and ensure that we are meeting all service and timeline requirements. I like that I can make things easier for our clients each day. If they walk away satisfied, I know I’ve done my job.

Prior to joining TBA, I worked for Nationwide Financial for 12 years in various positions. This experience made my transition to TBA easier, though there was still plenty to learn. Initially, I was interested in TBA due to a need for greater flexibility with my work schedule, but once I met Kim, I knew I had to work for TBA.

Daily, I enjoy the interactions I have with my coworkers, and I can honestly say that TBA has found some gems in its staff. I have many good memories from my years working here, but my favorites include the amazing holiday parties the leadership team plans for the company. These include scavenger hunts through the Detroit Institute of Arts (my favorite!), a behind-the-floats tour of the Detroit Thanksgiving Day Parade, a private expedition of the Detroit Zoo, a virtual escape room at historical Buhl Estate, and many other great celebrations!
