“I like to look at the big picture, examine the data and come up with streamlined processes and procedures. These allow us to work cohesively as an organization and provide exceptional service to our clients.”

My role at TBA has evolved over the years. Starting with Loans and Distributions, I have moved through all administrative layers of the organization and now oversee Internal Operations. I am responsible for the process and procedures across all teams and analyze the workflow throughout the organization on a day-to-day basis, which allows me to have a pulse on all the inter-workings of the organization. I like to look at the big picture, examine the data and come up with streamlined processes and procedures. These allow us to work cohesively as an organization and provide exceptional service to our clients.

A primary focus of TBA management has always been the success of the staff. We realize that when our employees are in the right position, they’ll be successful – and so will TBA. Through Ownership Thinking, we all have a voice to make improvements across the organization and are able to see how our actions directly affect those of our teammates. It’s great to be part of a team that genuinely cares about each other.

Prior to joining TBA in 2000, I was a 4th-grade school teacher for six years. I loved being a teacher and delighted in my students. Much like a school year, our industry functions on a cyclical calendar, and I love that aspect. There are a lot of moments when I sit back and reflect on how we have grown, and can’t help but be very thankful for the career that I have here. The successes of our staff and our company as a whole are truly awesome! I love when we have the opportunity to bring all the team together to learn and have fun together. Our annual holiday gatherings are always a lot of fun and offer the chance to spend time together on a personal level.
