When participants call in, I’m the part of the team that helps them with a distribution or a loan from their 401(k) Plan. In this role I help people all day long, which is my favorite thing to do. The best part of my job is that it’s always changing – with every phone call I’m meeting new people and learning new things. When I can make a client feel better is when I am my happiest.
I’ve been in the customer service industry my entire life. Before joining TBA, I was a hair stylist for 20 years. For the last eight, I was the co-owner of Rusted Roots Salon, where I learned how to be a great team player and business leader. Helping people and interacting with them is something I’ve always loved doing. When it was time to make a career change, I was fortunate enough to find a new home at The Benefit Advantage. Coming from a different industry, what I look forward to the most is continuing to learn and grow in the distributions and loans department. Here, I get to use the skills I learned early in my career every day – I get to help people.
The most attractive thing about TBA is the family atmosphere. Everyone knows everyone else and enjoys being around each other. TBA is an incredible team, and I’m really excited to be a part of it!
