“I enjoy working with numbers, and approach all complex issues as though they’re a puzzle. When all of the pieces come together, and the client fully understands the issue at hand, I deem that a successful day!”
As a Trust Accounting Auditor for TBA, I am responsible for many tasks, but my primary role is to assist our clients with correcting errors relating to payroll deposits and loan issues. On a daily basis, I am busy communicating with a variety of people. I enjoy working with numbers, and approach all complex issues as though they’re a puzzle. When all of the pieces come together, and the client fully understands the issue at hand, I deem that a successful day! Internally, I serve as the Chairman of the Ownership Thinking Steering Committee, which is a group of TBA employees dedicated to continuous improvement that relies heavily on employee involvement.
As far as work experience, I am proud to say that I have been with TBA for most of my working life. I started here when I was 16 years old, at which time I was just happy to be offered a job. I even left for three years to explore my options, but soon came back. I stay because TBA is a company that values its employees and promotes a healthy work/life balance. This balance allows me to be present for my family while still being dedicated to my job. In fact, my favorite part of working for TBA is the emphasis they put on employee culture. We have had several events over the years that allow us to “bond” with our coworkers, because as many of us work remotely, this is important. My favorite events include working with an Improv team, escape room demos, playing Bocce ball, and bowling.
