JOINED TBA IN 2015

“When everything runs smoothly for the client – from plan processing and data gathering at the beginning of the year to filing Form 5500 at the end of the year – and they are pleased and confident in the work we do, that is what I like most about my job.”

For certain clients, the combination of a defined contribution plan with a cash balance plan provides an opportunity for tremendous retirement savings. My role at TBA encompasses the various aspects of such plans. I assist in the gathering of employee census and plan investments, present the contribution allocation, and ensure plan compliance through a variety of qualification testing and annual reporting. On a daily basis, I interact with clients, financial advisors, CPAs and other professionals to discuss and explain a wide variety of plan-related issues. I review the data, solve puzzling aspects and pull all the pieces together. When everything runs smoothly for the client – from plan processing and data gathering at the beginning of the year to filing Form 5500 at the end of the year – and they are pleased and confident in the work we do, that is what I like most about my job.

I have a lot of experience in this industry. In my previous role, I conducted all aspects of bundled recordkeeping and plan compliance work for 401(k) plans. When I joined TBA and began to learn my role with the company, I discovered the highest caliber of plan compliance, consulting and annual reporting of anything I’ve experienced in 30 years in this field. Furthermore, I was immediately impressed with the genuine, personable nature of each person I met at the company. Each employee – regardless of their role – desires to be helpful and encouraging to co-workers and clients.

Did I mention I get to work remotely? I am definitely glad to be a part of the TBA team.
