I joined The Benefit Advantage because I sought a career in which I could help people. I was also excited to work for a team that functions like a small, tight-knit family. The company was brought to my attention by a current employee, who had nothing but wonderful things to say about the great services they provide, and the care with which they treat employees.

Prior to becoming part of the TBA team, I performed diagnostic ultrasound procedures as a Vascular Technologist for 15 years. During that time, I honed my investigative skills and my eye for detail – and I developed excellent customer service skills due to constantly caring for patients. I loved interacting with so many new people every day, calming their fears and making a difference in their lives. Unfortunately, I had to leave that career due to an injury. I’m very fortunate that I found a new career that allows me to help others, which is a priority for me.

As part of the distributions and loans team I have many responsibilities, which include notifying participants of their balances and what options they have, then creating and sending out distribution packets. I gather information when a participant requests a loan or withdrawal, so it’s ready to pass on for approval and processing. I’m eager to learn more about this profession, and develop new skills to help my team and serve our clients.
