In my role at TBA, I process Required Minimum Distributions, break-in service, and force-out withdrawals. I help with the overflow of processing distributions and loans, as well as act as back-up for the Distribution and Loan and Customer Service departments when those employees take time off. I also manage our client database, PensionPal, by doing updates, designing the screens to be more efficient, and creating reports and templates. 

My entire career life has been with TBA. In 1997, I was doing an internship with one of TBA’s clients. We had a meeting, and as I was leaving Kim told me to be in contact with her if I was interested in a job.  She had just recently started the business and had only two or three employees, but had a plan for success. Kim’s strong work ethic and vision is what led me to make the call to start my career at TBA, and I joined the team as soon as I graduated from college.  

I enjoy working independently to get my work done, but also enjoy being part of a team. The Distribution and Loan department works very well with others, and everyone is always willing to step up and help each other out. In fact, one of my happiest memories is coming back to work after I had left for a year to stay home to take care of my children – such a warm welcome.
