In my current role for TBA, I prepare annual Compliance testing and Form 5500 reporting for Defined Contribution plans.

I have more than 20 years of experience in retirement plan administration, specializing in 401(k) and profit-sharing plans. My background includes more than four years working for a CPA firm, primarily providing audit services to 401(k), profit-sharing, and ESOP plans. Before joining TBA, I was also responsible for training the firm’s staff in retirement plan audits and supervising the on-site audits. I have administered ESOP and 403(b) plans as well as Sec. 125 plans. I also hold a Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA) designation through ASPPA (American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries) and am an Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent (ERPA) with the IRS.

During my 20 years in the private sector, before entering the world of retirement plan administration, my responsibilities included payroll, payroll reporting, employee benefits and other accounting duties for employers in various industries. 

Besides aligning with my career experience, the elements that drew me to TBA were simple, but critical – a positive atmosphere and the extensive industry knowledge of the management. The friendliness of my co-workers and their willingness to always help each other is what I like most about working at TBA. However, learning that my manager knows as many old songs and TV commercial jingles as I do – priceless.
