“I like being the go-to person – both internally and externally.”
I’m part of a team that serves as the first point of contact for our clients. I work proactively by contacting my book of clients on a quarterly basis to ensure that they’re satisfied, as well as address any outstanding items or questions they may have. I confirm that all necessary data is passed along to administrators, then follow up as needed. I also help clients with signing their annual Form 5500. I like being the go-to person – both internally and externally. One of my strengths is communication, so I am comfortable with being that person for both our clients and my co-workers. This role is a perfect fit for me.
I worked in banking for about 10 years, starting as a File Clerk and working my way up to Senior Teller Manager at one of the largest branches in the area. I moved into the Retirement Plan field, entering as a Billing Coordinator, moving to a Plan Administrator, then to a Senior Plan Administrator.
I came to TBA because I liked that it was a small company. I came from much larger corporate companies, so the small size has been refreshing, and I love that I’m able to work remotely. TBA really cares about providing quality service and products to their clients, and they care very personally about each and every one of their employees – treating them all as individuals. I will never forget my first day here – I flew out to Michigan and met the whole company at an annual team-building meeting. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. I especially remember getting a great big hug from my new boss Amy. TBA is simply a great place to work.
