As a Client Relationship Manager, I’m the main point of contact for the client. I work directly with the Fund Companies and our internal team to limit multiple touchpoints for clients, thereby ensuring seamless, personal interactions. I reach out to clients at least once every quarter to address any concerns and to ensure they’re receiving the best service possible. Working closely with the client and Pension Administrator, I help resolve any issues and follow up on missing information for plan year-end materials, employer allocations and 5500 filing. I’m the hub that holds together the wheel – no one wants just the spokes.
After graduating from the University of Connecticut, I worked for two small banks. My career in the retirement space started at Voya as a Pension Plan Consultant, where I worked closely with clients for five years, as well as conducted classroom new-hire training as part of the onboarding process. I expanded my experience for the following seven years at Prudential, starting as an Account Manager and then as a Sales Consultant. I presented final sales and participant enrollment meetings, and held continuing education seminars for clients and Financial Advisors. This experience gave me insight into the entire process – from sales to the ongoing management of a plan. After eight years at MassMutual – working with plans from new business, plan setup, drafting contracts and plan documents, to ongoing administration – I moved to Florida and took a position with a Financial Advisor. When my advisor retired, I was lucky enough to find TBA.
My coworkers already feel like family, and I’m lucky to work with a supportive team that goes out of their way to help. I look forward to contributing to TBA’s success by cultivating these relationships internally and with our clients. It’s one thing to give good customer service. It’s another to proactively work with clients and exceed their expectations.
